Vision Statement

Vision Statement

St. Paul Catholic School is a vibrant, culturally rich, Christ-centered environment, engaging all community members as we provide programs that ensure the spiritual, social, and intellectual growth of each student in order to prepare him or her to be a faith-filled, academically confident, service-oriented leader in our Church and in the world.

St. Paul Catholic School History

Founded in 1945

St. Paul Parish (now St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church) was founded in 1945, and St. Paul Catholic School was added in 1948 under the direction of the Sisters of Mercy.  Prior to the opening of the School, the children of the Parish had attended St. Thomas School.

In 1965, the Nashville Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia began to administer and teach at St. Paul Catholic School.  The Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia Congregation are dedicated to the Christian education of youth in institutions of learning, like St. Paul Catholic School.  In these schools, students come to a deeper understanding of their faith, their heritage, and their responsibilities as members of society.

Throughout the years, St. Paul Catholic School has been known for its outstanding academic program, successful athletic teams, and focus on educating the whole child in an environment steeped in Catholic Doctrine.  Alumni from St. Paul Catholic School can be found in every walk of life where they are spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Today, St. Paul students continue to excel in academics, the fine arts, athletics, and Christian service.  Daily they are challenged to use their God-given gifts and talents to positively impact their families, communities, school, and the world.

Accreditation

St. Paul Catholic School is proud to be accredited by Cognia, a globally recognized nonprofit organization

that provides quality assurance for schools through rigorous standards and continuous improvement.

This accreditation affirms our commitment to academic excellence, faith-centered education, and the overall growth of every child we serve. Through an in-depth evaluation of our instructional practices, leadership, curriculum, and school culture, Cognia has recognized St. Paul as a school that meets high standards of educational quality and effectiveness.

Being a Cognia-accredited school means our students are learning in an environment that is continually striving to improve, innovate, and serve with purpose — preparing them not only for academic success, but for lives rooted in faith, character, and service.

We are grateful to our dedicated faculty, staff, families, and students who make St. Paul a place where excellence and faith go hand in hand.
