Dec 1st: We continue to give Thanks!
Our St. Paul school children, teachers, and staff enjoyed a break to spend time with our families for Thanksgiving. Do you remember what your teachers would have you do after a summer or holiday break? Of course, you were asked to write about and/or draw your reflection of your time away from school. Look what one of our 1st graders had to say about the Thanksgiving break.
Please know that our students and families are thankful for every opportunity afforded them with their St. Paul Catholic School education. On Monday, Sister Mary Lawrence reminded all of us that, while we enjoy the holidays and look forward to the Christmas break ahead, there is work to be done!
We must continue to prepare today for the lessons which we will be taught next. And, the teachers and staff must prepare ourselves to walk with these young Panthers. We do enjoy the breaks and we renew our physical, spiritual, and emotional energy as we continue our journey, but we know that we must all work hard to continue to the success of St. Paul Catholic School.
This Advent, may we all prepare ourselves for the birth of our Savior at Christmas and renew ourselves for the service of our neighbor. Peace and love to you all!
